Carphone Warehouse to buy Tiscali's UK assets

Carphone Warehouse has announced it is to buy the UK assets of internet provider Tiscali.The Italian company has struggled with recent debts and had been in talks with BSkyB previously over buying up its UK assets.
Those talks collapsed, however, and this morning it was announced Carphone Warehouse had agreed to buy up the assets for £236 million.
Carphone already owns AOL UK and will now take on Tiscali's three million UK customers.
