FTSE 100 dips slightly from 15-month high

The FTSE 100 was down slightly in early trading on Wednesday after reaching levels the day before not seen since the collapse of Lehman Brothers in September 2008.At 10:43 the London index stood at 5,423.26, a drop of 14.35 points, or 0.26 per cent.
The FTSE 100 ended up 0.7 per cent on Tuesday at a 15-month closing peak.
The mining sector led the falls in morning trading with Fresnillo down 1.77 per cent to 777.5p and Rio Tinto dropping 1.71 per cent.
Aggreko recorded the strongest gains up almost two per cent to 873.4p.
